The Pecos National Historical Park Needs Our Help
The federal government cannot and does not completely fund our national parks. Financial assistance is needed to maintain and improve parks for present and future generations. Most of the federal funds are used for day-to-day maintenance and operation of structures, buildings, and roads. There’s not much left over for preserving the very things that make the Pecos National Historical Park special. Private and public sector collaboration is important throughout the National Park Service and provides important support for parks like the Pecos National Historical Park to preserve the park’s unique cultural heritage. The Friends Group work facilitates that support.
The Pecos National Historical Park is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization (Federal Tax ID # 85-0341773). All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. We accept multi-year pledges, gifts of stock and securities, real property, and much more. We encourage you to consult your financial advisor before finalizing any gift to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from current tax laws.
All gifts and donations are appreciated and used to preserve one of our greatest national treasures.
